Thumbs up DD race pump

Nathan is right on...Why wouldn't he be if I told him!!! My pump was the first production one and did go out at about 40,000 miles...It wasn't because of the mechanical changes made to it but was the electronic part. Fortunately, a simple rebuild got me going again, thanks to Lawrence at DD. My coooool heavy idel did go away, after installing some of Don M's EDM injectors which provide more fueling with less smoke but, hey that's the price of performance. I now have got my truck back running real strong now, and happy with its performance with the addition of Kurts lastest B-1B turbo. Last dyno was 562 HP on DF#2 only. Haven't put the "squeeze" on it yet with my set-up, too cold..wait til spring. What's nice now is I have full usable max. HP that is streetable at high elevation with NO egt issues. This year was horrible for me as I took my truck over the edge with different combinations of turbos, injectors, air boxes and injection pumps and actually loss ground..Thank goodness its finally behind me now. I finally have a strong baseline again, and know how to squeeeeeeeeze a little more when and if I have too in the future on D/F#2 only.
Then again, I still can do drugs....
