HELP!! stuck bolt

i just bought a j hook from tst and i went to install it but as i was trying to remove the bolt off the exaust housing and it was extremely hard to loosen and then when i turned it once the wrench striped one of the sides so now i have it out a little but i dont know what else to do to get it out..the kit comes wit a new bolt so if i can get the old one out i will be fine..

thanks Asa

Bolt

I would try to get the box end on there if not use a line wrench also try heat with theses tools. You can use a bigger turbo with all the stuff you have done, I wouldn't waste your time with a j hook.

turbo

Well I have an htb2 62/14 and a 12. I have 150 nozzles and egts are ok, actually better with the 12 housing. I would upgrade to a bigger turbo if I was going to get anything bigger than the 150s. Tranny wise I am still on a stock tranny, I dont pound it all the time though and when I do my converter is LOCKED. It works but doesnt like level 6 much . I am getting a dtt in the next week or 2 so I can drag race and really feel all the power I should.

If you have access to a welder take a nut and weld on the inside of the nut to the bolt. Let it cool till you can touch it with your hand. Get a wrench that will fit and it will come out.
