Re:Help with selecting injectors

Oh yeah, one more thing... How hard are the injectors to change? Yeah, I got tools and half a brain.

Re:Help with selecting injectors

@ 600.00 they are a little pricey. The DD2's and Bully dog 2's are usually around 500.00 (after core) Check with Rod@ Wildcat, I think he caries both. http://www.wildcatdiesel.com/
I have and prefer the Bully dogs over the DD's. I know some who have had problems with DD's recently.Changing is not hard if you have decent mech ability. Here's a page worth looking at; http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/ISB...or_replace.htm

Also see if anyone around you is having a bomb day. I'm sure there would be lots of people willing to help. Good luck!

Re:Help with selecting injectors

I ran a DD#2 before I would also consult Don M a board member here and ask him about injectors he has a few tricks up his sleve that others don't know about.

Rattle_Rattle Well said - perfect bombing formula ;D

I agree with Bob W, and for my personal preference, I went with DD2's.

$600 seems high. Try giving Rip Rook a call, he's treated me VERY fairly with answers and prices on several occasions. Source Automotive Web Page

Re:Help with selecting injectors

It sure seems like everyone (vendors & suppliers) are modifying the Bosch injectors themselves. What, if anyone knows, are they actually doing to them? What's the physical difference between stock and stage II injectors?

Re:Help with selecting injectors

Agreeing with OlBlue said. I would go with Diesal Dynamics. To be perfectly honest, not to infer that I would be anything but (where did that expression come from anyhow?), I personally haven't tried other brands of injectors but they (DD) have been making them for a long while and I would be willing to bet that they control the market share for that stage of injectors. I really like mine as they do everything that others and the manufacturer claimed they would. That's good enough for me.

Roger
