I have been browsing through many threads on many different forums and have found little help on how to get the cruise control to work on a 2002 after p pumping it. I am in the process of building a p pumped engine so my truck still has the engine in it and I am daily driving it, but before I start dropping the new engine in it I want to be able to know for sure I will be able to get the electronic cruise control to work. Will a ECM from a 12V work on this engine? That should also fix the CEL too right? I was thinking using a vaccum cruise like the older dodges had and with the 12V ECM the truck would just think I have a 12V in it.....will this work? Will my instrument panel work with the 12V computer?
