Help "building" fuel system

Okay, I know theres many options as to how to replace the LP... but since I'm not exactly sure how close my LP is to going I want to start getting ready to replace it one for peace of mind, two I'll know exactly what fuel system I'm running, and three I'll have something that can handle bigger injectors and a box and what not...

I was just looking at shop DTR and if I understand this correctly, I only need these things and I'm set as far as my fuel system?

Any idea as to how much hp/tq this set-up will handle? I'm not talking massive amounts... but deffinitely more then stock.

What about my IP, if the lift pump is going... which it probably is... doesn't this mean extra strain has/is being put on my IP?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just saw the The Remote Mount MK-2+ System is that an absolute nessecity, and if I get this I don't need the big line kit right?

You only need the fuel systemand the strainer. The system already has the big lines in it. You should also get a feul pressyre gauge. I have the same set up basicly, and im pushing a good bit of hp threw mine, The pressure only drops 3psi at wot.

I'm in a similar situation as 1bad4x4. But I think my VP44 is going as well. What, and where is the best pump and place to get a VP44 besides cummins. I understand that there is better out there than the stock one from cummins. I have 189,000 miles on her. When it's cold or hasen't ran in a while it will spitt and sputter until it warms up. Any help along with what 1bad4x4 is looking for as well will be appreciated.

The truck already has a fuel pressure gauge... and I was looking on GDPs site and it looks like the Mk- 2+ System won't work on my truck anyways...

Any word on the injection pump?

My 2 cents I have great peace of mind with the Fass pump not real sure about the others I picked them because It was built for diesels by diesel owners that was worth quite a bit. Also with the big line kit you will need a 1/2 inch inline filter not a 3/8 inch hope this helps. One other thing Fass has a great comparison chart on there web site check it out!
