Help Boost not working??

I am in the middle of getting my pyro (works fine pre turbo) and boost installed. The boost is not working. I pulled the instruction off of tst and pulled that plug where is says to put the boost at. It went in fine and I ran the line to the gague fine. When I fire up the truck I only get pyro readings. Did I so someting wrong. Its a 95 12v. Any help ASAP would be great!!

This is where I mounted the boost at. I took out the fitting and put the new one in. Do I need to tap it?

You won't be able to see the boost guage move until you get on the road under load.
Reving it while sitting still won't generate enough boost.

I can generate about 10 psi of boost reving in neutral. Get out on the road and you should see boost.

It works. I guess I should have read the rest of the directions 20 psi is the most I got out of it. Is that about what I am looking for? I got up to 90 mph and my pyro got up to 1300. I need to drive it at 55 and see what it does. Thanks for the help.

Boost sounds a little low, are you running a boost elbow on the turbo?

I believe the stock (unmodified) wastegate will dump at around 19-20 psi.

No elbow is that something I should do? My next step was to put a cam plate and 3k spring kit in, should I do something else first? I also now have another problem (I have not searched yet) but my ABS and brake light stays on now all the time it never happened before I did the gagues.

Yeah I am not sure, I was going to mess around with that after I get some sleep. I installed a Tranny temp gauge also and its not working. I figured the port I used must not get to much heat or something. I unpluged three before I found one it would work in. I may have drove those other ones back in to far?? Thanks for the input I will let you know what I come up with.
BTW this is one hell of a Web site, thanks for all the info everyone has!!

On your '95 RH tranny the middle port is the only one that will have correct temps.

On the passagner side of the tranny? The one I am using is the upper left (if you under it looking at it from the passanger side). Am I in the right area?

Yep, pass side middle. Some people have had a hard time getting the probe threaded in right in this port. It is the right size and thread but doesn't have much taper. Running a 1/8'' NPT tap coated with grease down it will fix you right up.

Thanks. I will check this out tonight. I posted on another thread about my gauge not working. It is stuck on 240 and will not go down. Could this be a bad ground. The other guy installed his on his hot line, is that a good idea or will this port you told me about work just fine??
