ok got the box in, starting with around pl03 and up if i roll into it it feels like the power is on/off/on/off unless i apply WOT. it's not a little shutter its a derastic difference in power.

I missed that orange sheet in the kit and put the red wire to the fuse in the under hood fuse box could that be it ?

any ideas? thanks

 

Could be. You didn't by chance hook the red wire to your hazard flasher?

I would download one of the newer tunes. I think they come pre programmed with the original tune that had some surging issues.

 

i switched the wire and it's still the same so i will try a newer tune.

 

possibly the wrong pump wire? Tapping the wrong wire will make some weird things happen.

 

in reference to this picture i tapped the top right wire, is this correct?

Yes it will be the top wire closest to the block. Check for a good connection.
