Adrenaline Pulse upgrade help?

I have been trying to upgrade my Pulse. I followed the instructions and after all is supposed to be done all I get is a message that says commander not detected. I will call the Quad office tomorrow, cuz I am not gonna bother Quad on the weekend, with his new baby and all. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what you did to fix it. I am running windows XP. I tried with the pulse hooked up to Adrenaline and without. also tried hooking up the cord at the promt and tried leaving it hooked up from the start. The Pulse is getting power thru the cable, as it will light up the display. Any ideas

Have you tried a different USB port? Rebooting PC? I can't comment much because my update was about as smooth as you could hope for.

Did you let it install the drivers? or let it go through the new hardware process?

Don't mean to hijack but this seems like a good place for my question, got a new laptop with vista, updated the pulse no problems, went through the first time setup everything worked fine. Went to update the adrenaline the first time with it new hardware found and it was installing the drivers but failed and now it will not find it anytime i plug it in. If i bring it to my windows XP pc i have no problems.

Thanks Quad, that was the problem. Somehow when the drivers were installing the first time, I got kicked out. Went back and reloaded the drivers and all is well. Can't say enough of the new (to me at this point) display.
