Question HELP! 12mm stud install

hey guys ia got a problem i am reinstalling my new oring head with 12m studs well i left the studs out put the h/g on the block then lowerd the head down on to the block and then went to install the studs well i got all of them in but the back four the last to on the exhast side and the very last 2 at the back of the head i have tryed everything so could someone help me out with how to get the last for of these studs in thinks mike!!!

theres 2 plugs up in the cowl above the back of the engine....pull them first. that may do the trick. if not I removed mine a weeks or so ago and had to put a prybar on the edge of the cowl and just give it some lovin' to get the last 2 out. probably have to loose that insulation from the firewall too. I pulled that stuff off the 1st time I set the valves. all that junk dust floating down on the engine not cool.

yea i got the little plugs out i mean i have tryed every angel to get them back studs in but not work so take a pry bar and pry up on the cowl is that what ur saying??

thats what I did to get them out this last time. when I installed them then all went in with no prying, but it was pretty tight. granted when I took them out a few weeks back I was in no mood to pussyfoot around so I went straight to the 42" prybar and they came out fine. nothing broke.

I didnt have a bit of a problem with mine, i didnt even pull the plugs. Is there something else in the way?

loosen the cab mounting bolts and lift the cab an inch or so. It wont hurt a thing and then you can just tighten everything back up!
