2001 Steering Damper
I would like to replace my steering damper and it seems the only option is Mopar. A Bilstein would be preferred, but apparently is not available for this model year.

Does anyone have any options/suggestions? Seems odd that Mopar would be the only choice.

Mine is still OEM. I haven't noticed any problems with it. If it ever goes - and I'm not sure how I can tell - I will just replace it with what's available. It lasted 19 years; another 19, and I will be dead in that truck anyway

Rock auto lists KYB, Moog, Monroe, Gabriel, Mopar and Rancho for the 2001 year trucks......
