Hey guys is the damper on a 2wd just a taper fit or are there screw threads to deal with, in the drag link? I replace my lower ball joints tonight and can't get the stinkin' damper off!, cause new shocks are next.

It's just a taper fit but can be a bear. The trick is to use a pitman arm puller on it. Torque the puller down and give a good whack with a hand sledge. Wear safety glasses.
