hey guys im plannin on gettin everything on my drive line ready before i add more juice to it. I preferably dont wanna send my head away but anyways theres a respectable shop near by. Could some give me an estimate on what $ range i am to inspect. Arp studs, oring cut.
what about magna fluxing???? and the other stuff, also what else would be needed

Most shops are around $300 for cutting the O-Ring. Decking the head will probably set you back $150 or so depending on where you get it done.

 

I think you should never put any money into a head without checking for cracks , magnaflux , pressure test there are a number of ways and if the shop your at cannt then find a differant shop , also I hear a lot of talk here and elswere about surfacing heads look out for heads that have been cut to much or to many times , something I used to do , when I had my last shop, to save warped heads and give more life was to use an old comercial pizza oven and bockem when hot to straightem as much as possible before surffacing to take as little as possible off the head, it blows me away that most shops just keep on cutting and through the heads away if they are not tall enough.
