head oring specs

head oring specs

I am just wondering if anyone has any specs on the right type of ring I need to get my head oringed with. Not sure many shops will know what to use around here.

IIRC, you want .051 SS wire tapped into a .048 groove. i think it should be .040 deep, not sure though.

Josh, call Kenny at Turbo Auto Diesel. I just had a new 3Gen head done there a week ago, came out great. Price wasn't too high either.
