h2 wheels
$900 is way out of line IMO. I've seen them almost always under $550. I actually found an old thread selling them locally to me for about $450 per set. The price really can't be touched for new tires and upgraded 17" rims. From what I hear the chrome finish isn't worth getting as it doesn't last anyway. Someone said they tried it on theirs and by time they made it through the first winter they were ruined with pitting.
If you're worried about the center bore..... let a machine shop do it for you. I had a shop that did it for dirt cheap and it only took them 1/2 hr to do all 5. And yes... you can stuff a fullsized spare under there. Total cost was $550 and beats the heck out of paying $200 per tire.......you do the math.
talked to a machine shop today said he was a little slow could do it for 20 a wheel i think thats pretty good but needs tires off.....back to price for the set still calling around and all i find is 800 to 900 for wheels and tires, but you guys still think thats to much?????? even on ebay the price is close to what im hearing but shipping will KILL YOU......if anybody knows where to find them cheaper plz let me know thanks again
breeze cal/ go p[ast local hummer dealer and see if they have any, should be 100 bux a piece, it is a " cash sale" for them most of the time
for them it is money in pocket! if not call around, I drove 129 miles one way to get my set, think it was only 117 miles back??? ha still gotta get that corrected. considdering the price of the tires alone this is a phenomenal deal, they come balanced from the factory so as long as the machine shop does a good job they will stay balanced. heck when mine wear out I may just ditch the rims and tires for a new set cheaper than replacing just the rubber.
