This day keeps getting better and better. Who would have thought that a little gray wire could be so much fun. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I, Tyler Williams, have now joined the tapped wire club and let me tell you it's the greatest thing since.....oh who am I kidding, nothing compares. This truck is a rocket with the new VB and wire tapped. There isn't as much smoke as I had hoped for but I'll live. My egt's with the wire untapped and 275's were 1200* at 115mph. Now they read 1475-1500* at 55mph. Boost used to be 34 psi at 115mph. Now it's at 40psi at 40 mph. The best part though is that my little holley blue fuel pump is still pushing 11psi at WOT. The diesel gods have blessed me and I in return will now go out and sacrifice as many fords/chevys/ricers/and anything else that stands in my way. Oh thank you oh merciful gods. Thank you.

 

i never ran my w/o the wire tapped. so i dont really know how big of a difference there was. But, i do know that a tapped comp will kick butt and wipe it too. have fun with your semi-new toy.
