Good point Mike. Smoke is pretty much a novelty after a certain point for most smokers. I actually get kinda frustrated with mine from time to time, especially when towing. Having the power on tap is nice, but running around with the smarty on 9 can get to be work if you are trying to keep clean.

Go ahead and flame me, I've got good bunkers, but like Mike said, why do you want to "smoke"? All that smoke says is, "I don't have enough air/boost!" I just made some significant changes to my truck to keep the smoke down and the power up. IMHO nothing is cooler then a diesel that hauls and doesn't leave a cloud of smoke behind it!

Leave the smoke on the track.

A puff here and there on take offs look cool. Like a big rig. You don't wanna be rolling smoke the whole time you accelerate though; especially in the city.

Tell your Uncle Johnny to stick to Fords. The Cummins computer system is not like a Ford, the Cummins can not be "chipped" like a Ford EEC computer can.
