I got my Tuff Country ladder bars in. They look awesome. Everything is powder coated black. It came with pretty good instructions. The hardest part of the install is gonna be drilling the 1/2" hole in the frame. I think I'm gonna start it with a torch and then ream it out to a 1/2" hole. They are gonna force me to get new u-bolts so that's a good thing cause I really need some bigger ones than stock. I'm putting them on this weekend so I'll let yall know how it goes and how they work. I really hope this stops my vibration on take off. It's getting really annoying and I'm a little worried about the u-joint and leaf spring center bolts. Take it easy and once again thanks for the help yall.

 

I have never had good luck starting a hole with a torch and then use a drill or reamer. Things usually get pretty ugly for me. I have the best luck starting a pilot hole with a sharp 1/4 in bit, then go up in size. You have to use slow speed and oil on the bit. Remember, the key word here is "sharp bit". If it aint sharp, it wont drill frames. Good luck.

 

Maybe you could get "Mr. Wonderful" to do it for you since you drilled his frame for his FASS.
