Got $4500 and looking to do some things..

So, since my headgasket is now leaking.. and i know i am going to do studs, i decided to spend a little bit more money.. At the moment all i know i'm going to do is an exhaust brake, and head studs.. I want to go to twin turbo's.. but i'm not sure where to get all the parts.. I'm going to ATS on Thursday and i want to bring everything with me, except the exhaust brake and the head studs. The head studs and the brake are going to cost about 2 grand even installed.. So that leaves me 2500$ to get another turbo to put on top of my HTB2 62/14.. i was thinking of a HT3B or a B2/S400.. since they are both about the same price.. but where do i get the piping for the twins ? any of you dealers feel free to speak up and hook a brother up.. I'm also wondering if i have to do any exhaust work ? i have a 4 inch downpipe for the HTB2 but will that work for the twins setup ? or am i gonna have to change up some stuff ?

i would check in to some of Don's springs for the head since your planning on twins and exhaust brake, since twins will create so much more boost psi and exhaust brake will create alot of back pressure, which is not good for valves and springs.
www.sourceautomotive.biz has the piping and maybe PDW.http://www.performancedieselwarehouse.com/1124703.html

good luck dieselfan

We offer a twin kit that would work with your current charger but the price is going to be over the $2500. The kit would use a B2 for the primary, it would include all lines, brackets, manifold, and filter, everything except the HTB2. Twins use a 5" downpipe.....

Just wanted to re-mention, if your thinking of going with twins you will need a remote mount 5" brake

I assume that you are replacing the headgasket and then are putting in the studs and not just putting the studs in. If you are just putting in the studs, i dont think that will stop the leak

OK, well i decided on going with ATS.. if their Aurora 5000 will hook up with my HTB2 62/14.. which i see no reason why it wouldnt since an Aurora 2000 is very similar... i'm gonna have them do the twins for me.. So, what all i'm getting done is.. Head Studs and a new head gasket, buying an Aurora 5000 and hooking up the twins complete with a new manifold and all the stuff to make it work.. and finally an exhaust brake.. They said they will sell it and install it all for 5k cash.. which seems to be a **** decent deal from what i've been seeing for prices..

Sort of off the subject but who did your body work and paint for $1500? Are you in Denver it sounds like ATS is close to you?
I would like to get paint on my 1996 and that sounds like a great price.

lol... well my mother owns a dealership with a body shop.. and i traded the painter my wheels and tires that came on the truck when i got for 1000$ and paid him $500 for supplies.. we did the paint after hours.. and i got all the body work and prep work done for free in house.. because i did some favors for the body guy .. so i had an inside hookup. . I'm about 100 miles from Denver, CO.. so its not too bad of a trip to go see ATS.
