GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

Today coming home from work my truck was feeling a little funny.( SLOW). I noticed the lights on my comp were going on & off in different patterns and the 1st fuel light won`t come on at all.
I checked all connections, still the same. Has anyone had this happen?
Danny

Yeah you are probably in the sub menu. to go back to main menu, first turn it up to 5 if you want and turn it off. then turn it back on and it will be fixxed then set desired level. If your like me 5X5.

No Im not in the sub level, If you read it says FUEL level. there is no 1st level light and if I go up to L5 they go on&off and Dim (just stay dim not flicker as in sub level)
Danny

Call Edge or post a message on their forum, I think someone just posted a similar issue with there's. Might have to send it back to Edge for testing... [undecided]

Tony

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

Well it turned out to be the Box. I have to say Edge Products are great to deal with. I called monday morning talked to Aaron and had a replacement box in my hands the NEXT day.
Small overnight charge well worth it. Can`t believe the difference the other box must have been Bad from the start and continued to get worse.
Danny

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

Occasionally, mine will light up every other light and not do anything till I unplug it. Sometimes it won't come on at all. It also surges after running it on 3x3. I need to send it back but have the money to. Considering the thing is like a year old or something, I don't think there is a warranty on it any more.

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

I have had my comp installed for a few months now, but just here recently when I change the settings on the fly the truck seems to miss a beat at each level change. It's not bad by any means, but didn't do it at first. Just wondering if anyone else has this happen so that I know if it's normal.

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

Mike, Mine was only 2 weeks old. At first it seemed fine, except for level 4 & 5 above 2200 rpms it felt like it was getting to much fuel and had a hard time reving past 2500 rpms. It steadily got worse, last day it totally defueled @ 1400
if I shut the box off it would not even make enough power to make 5psi of boost(which made no sense, I was thinkin lift pump. but still had 16 showing on gauge) After new box its day & night difference.Lights were working all funny also. I checked all connections. I did move the + wire to the blue wire coming down the steering column, buddy told me its much better power than tapping the panel.
I knew something was wrong when I almost couldn`t make it home.
Danny
Blue Try turning the sub level up .3 is as low or lower delivery level than stock, You`ll get a pop in the rpm when you let off the pedal.

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

If I run mine on 3x3, then put it back down to 1x5 and am crusing, the truck will surge BAD. If I put it on level 2x3, the surge disappears.

Re:GOOD COMP~BAD COMP?

Send it back mine does nothing to what you guys are saying. No surging no lights flashing no anything just works all the time! I can run any level and the box works perfect. No probs what so ever.
