Goerand TC Stalls?

Yes i will be purchasing a TC and Valvebody this winter, and i wanted to know if anyone is running a higher stall with Daves converter? I would like to build one to lock in between 1550 - 1700 has anyone ran this setup? or have a different stall other than the traditional 300/800 stall??

i have just the generic triple disc, didnt ask for anything special.... i know its quite a bit tighter than stock but not sure how u tell exactly where it stalls...

what do the 300/ 800 designate??

i know bobcat (garrett shields, from pure diesel power) is running a very high stall goerend converter in his pulling truck.

what are you doing with your truck if you tow you don't want a higher stall it slams hard when it locks. mine will breck the tires loose when it lock up in third with the trailer on emty it flys though with all most know turbo lag I think mine said 400/900 on it but don't know what it means

Mine said 900/400 on it when I got it. No lag and I still beleve that this has been my BEST investment to my truck yet.

THey are all correct. Dave will build you one that stalls anywhere you want. I have an all left hand cut stator in mine. Stalls about 1200 -1300. I needed it a little more loose than the standard 300/800 due to altitude and towing. Just wouldn't spool up here where there is no air.
