Well, We installed it in his truck today, warmer it up, flipped on the comp, and we could tell the rpms were a tad higher, but there was barely any more power at all, it was in ez mode so we brought it back in and tapped the wire, no better. So the verdict would have to be, it doesnt work, also, I have a 99 and I plugged it into my truck since I have a comp, and it worked great, so its not the box either. If you power brake it a bit with the chip on the 01, the power comes on real jerky and not hard at all, even on 5x5. Not the case when on my 99, comes on smooth and hard.

HERES the real problem though, the harness did not come with the adaptors, it IS a wiring harness for an 01. So right now I have a 98.5-99 chip, with an 01 harness that I need to get rid of. Kinda ****** at the seller right now. Anyone have any xtra harnesses? or just an 01 chip?
