Geno's painless fuse block

Anybody using Geno's Painless 7-cirkit boss fuse block? I ordered the 4 ignition hot/3 constant. How does it install? How do you like it? I am going to use it for fog lights, driving lights & backup lights. Can I use it for guages?

I have the weather-resistant model mounted on the firewall next to the clutch hydralics tank. It's overkill for guages but can be used if you replace the standard 20 amp fuse. I think it would be a better unit if it used a terminal block instaed of pigtails.

I have the interior one behind the dash. Works great. But I've just about used up all the connections! And yes, you can use it as a power source for guages, if needed.

I've installed the weatherproof panel and it's 8).
Mounted mine on the firewall next to the brake booster.
I like the pigtails on this one 'cuz you can solder, and weatherproof the connections, otherwise being exposed to the elements, push on connectors can get corroded.

Re:Geno's painless fuse block

I've had the painless connector for bout 4 years. I installed it on the fender well under the battery. Well I had a battery explode and the acid ate the the main fuse up. I have another one and it will power eveything you need. I have my dash gauges, back up lights, radio power, cb....... yep, Just anything you need. And I still got 2 lines left.

I love it.

..Preston..
