The Recon is just a gauge and only a gauge? I do not see how it could affect warranty any more than normal gauges?

Just so you know the unit is all self contained just as you see it pictures. You do not need a module or any other hardware mounted anywhere. THere is a small grey cable coming out of the display and it hooks to a wiring harness that you connect to the thermocouple, trans/FP sending unit and to the MAP sensor.

Also for the 12v guys this thing will work as is for EGT and Trans/FP. The boost would not work right this second but, we have a mecahnical boost line adapter we are working on as we speak so you can hook some tubing up to it and it converts it to a digital signal for the display!

theyd probably take one look at the guages and deny you warranty anyways no matter what type you have.

Yeah, that is highly unlikely. Matter of fact I have NEVER heard of a warranty being voided because of gauges. I am sure it has happened, I have just never heard of it.
