My first question is the in-dash installation gauge kit for 99-02 from Geno's garage. Where does this thing go? Any pics of install would be great.

Second question is about 47re tranny. If I was to install a Goerend tripple torque, high press. valve body, and a high strength shift lever/apply strap/band anchor kit, would this be enough to support an Edge Comp?

Truck is a completely stock 01.5 with 47re, and has 90,000 miles on it. I just bought the truck and it doesn't have any form of hitch in the bed and no evidence of a brake controller in it so I'm assuming the tranny should be in good shape.

 

Call Dave and ask. He's a busy guy so call twice and leave a message. I did just about the same thing, VB, Converter, 48re input 1 new band and 1,2 shift lever something and he said I'm good to go. I told him what I want out of my truck in the future. As long as I'm not sled pulling and boosted launches I should be able to throw down as much power as I want.

I had him do all the work as it was cheaper for me to drive than ship and pay core and r&r somewhere else.

The guage kit replaces the little cubby hole to the right of the radio. Just pop the dash cover off and there's 3 screws...pretty simple install.

Sorry, I don't know anything about auto's, can't help ya on that one.
