Gauge install question

I plan on installing a pyro and boost gauge in an A-pillar mount this weekend and I had a couple of questions:

1. Does the A-pillar just snap off.
2. Where do you get the paint that matches the interior?

Thanks

1. yes, but be careful, some times they can break at the clamp, which holds em on.

2. Many people go to the dealership and buy a spray can to match their interior ($8-14, depending on the dealership) . Also, some just go to a paint store, home depo, and bring in the stock pillar to match up the color. Both have had good results.

Good luck,

Hunter

Is that what I heard clinking behind the dash when I pulled off the stock cover?

I noticed on my 96-360 anyway that the snaps are slides that pull off out toward the door opening. I hope the 97 is the same.
