Garage built front bumpers?

Thinking of replacing my stocker, but want to build something pretty stout.
I like the bullnose and prerunner style bumpers, and dont need a grill guard or light guards...
Just wondering if anyone has built their own, and if you have pics that would be great....

I built my own. Learned a lot and probably could make them nice but they do the job and thats all I need. Here are some pics. It doesn't stick out much because of approach angle and it works as a great stand for getting into the engine compartment

Looks good, just use a tubing notcher and make sure you have the right angle when you cut?

Im thinking of building something like this, but a little bigger, and have a little more of an apron on the sides hanging down lower...

i use 10 inch c channel and 1 1/4 sqare tubing for uprights if you look at my profile and look under pics you can see the bumper part under construction. this type has been tested under real conditions in La. once it totaled the guys car and sent him to hospital did about 7k to my truck. am just finish the one on my 03 will post pics if i can. i build these for about 400.00. it is a full bumper replacement and weighs about 200 or less. it only takes a welder torch and a good chop saw to build one if you want to build one yourself i will answer any questions if i can

That's EXACTLY what I want right there only things it needs are fog light holes and reciever hitches for my weight bracket. Its just right though, doesn't stick out like 1.5-2 feet like other replacement bumpers!
