Whos built a front or rear bumper for their truck?

Being stingy and not wanting to spend money, along with a lot of free time, Im looking into building my own front and rear ranch hand or road armor style bumper. Something to replace the stock with a little ***** behind it. I saw someone else here built a front runner style add on but anyone built a full bumper? If you have, post pics of it and tools you used to build it.

I had toyed with the idea of building some bumpers too. I don't like how most of the aftermarket bumpers are very bulky, and the "simple" Road Armor bumpers are waaaaay too expensive. I haven't even started on ideas though, because it just seems like a hellalotta work.

thats not bad...what did you use to bend the brush gaurd tubing? Mitre cuts for the main pipe in the bumper isnt bad and cutting the treadplate is easy... Hell, $350 a bumper is cool with me, I can sell my 06 stuff.

I think "4x4Dually" built his bumper too. Not sure on that, but it is a custom built bumper....not a manufactured one.
