When I put fuel in my truck it the auto stop hits on the pump instantly. On the high flow pumps I have to hold the pump a few inches and shoot the fuel in SLOWLY. It can take 15 minutes to fill up sometimes. On low flow pumps I sometimes can set the fuel cap against the lever in the pump so it pumps as slowly as possible so it does not hit the auto shut off every few seconds.

Has anyone else had this problem? What is the solution?

 

The vent tube may be restricted.
