i am in the market for a fuel pressure guage. i have not started to research what exactly has to be done. can anyone brief me on the install of a fuel pressure guage. i shopped around online and found a single pod on steering column which suits me. i can take care of the install of the actual guage but the other portions of the install i have yet to get into.

Depending on which vendor you choose for the gauge, you may or may not get instructions. Just make sure that whoever you buy your gauge from can either sell you the hardware you need to install it, or at least give you a heads up as to what you will be needing. It took me three trips to the hardware store to get all the bits and pieces I needed for the install (and I had a complete install kit, I'm just picky). I would definitely recommend you get a mechanical gauge as opposed to an electrical one; they seem to be more durable. Good luck.

Get a good quality kit from any of the vendors on here and you won't have any problems.

I got a mechanical guage setup from Rod@Wildcat Diesel almost 2 years ago and have had zero problems with. For what it's intended to save, don't go cheap.
