Fuel Pressure
Fuel Pressure
2000 3500, 2wd, 5-speed, K&N intake, 280hp injectors, 4in exhaust, Quadzilla - 60-90-120hp tuner.
Is the stock lifter pump giving me enough fuel to injector pump?
How much pressure is needed?
If I need more fuel pressure what is the most economical route to take?

You may want to look at a big line kit from Vulcan. They can also recoomend pump options.
I would certaily get an FP gauge if you do not have one.
You should run 9-15 under most circumstances, 5 psi minimum.
Boost & Pyro are recommended for BOMERS. Geno's is a good place for gauges.
How many miles on the VP?
30-100k seems the normal life of most. Some get lucky & go 200-300k.
Go figure!

I lost the original VP at 100K. got 80k on this one. I've been changing the lift pump about every 30k. But I now have added the injectors and Quadzilla box.
A new clutch is coming soon.
Already have boost and pyro gauges.
Thanks for the info.
