I finally got time to take my fuel plate out (Pump is sitting on the bench) anyway, The cover had the breakaway screw still intact and when I got the plate out its a #6 . This is a 97 215 pump and I have seen on peirs site the #6 plate is not reccomended. I was planning on grinding the stock plate to a #10 but now I dont know what I should do. I dont want to grind on this plate as it dont look to be a home made plate (Has a 6 stamped in the top)

Any suggestions on what i should do? Should I sell this one and buy a #10?

 

when i bought my #6 plate (back when i used it) it came with a breakoff screw to reinstall.... i'd grind it like you want....
