Fuel line help....
Fuel line help....
Two questions.....
1. What is the best method for cutting braided stainless steel fuel line without making a messy end with frayed wires?
2. What symptoms would you expect if you were getting a little bit of air into your low pressure fuel lines either before or after the lift pump?

cold chisel wide enuff for the line and smack it hard with a 2lb mallet--you could wrap the line with electricians tape also before you whack it---
hard starting for one symptom---what symptoms do you have??? chris

I have had a rough idle that comes and goes as well as a fuel pressure gauge that jumps around by about 1 psi. It always starts ok as long as the lift pump runs for a second.
I installed Aeroquip -6 AN fittings and where they screw into the lift pump I am suspicious there might be air leaking in.
