fuel / box question...

Hello all,

Before I start I would like to say thanks in advance for reading all of this, and cheap solutions are my favorite kind.. lol

Right now I have bypassed my factory lift pump and I am using an electric pump that gives me about 10psi at idle and 5 at WOT.

I want to put in my new jammer injectors, but I dont want my fuel pressure to drop so low it will kill my VP44 (Already on number two).

Has any one tried running two electric fuel pumps together? Or would it be easier to get a new lift pump replacement and run it with the electric pump again? I got about 25psi when I did this before till the lift pump died.

The last thing I was wondering about was what box should I get. I am looking at the quadzilla box that says it adds 50hp just because it is a lot cheaper than the edge EZ.

I will worry about fueling boxes after college when I can buy a new tranny. :P

You need to solve your fuel problem. 10psi at idle and 5psi at WOT is no good.

there are hundreds of guys running two lp's with 25 psi with no problems. That is alot better than 10 and 5 in anybodys book. check the classifieds for a used box, might save some coin. jammers are good, cheap, smokey hp. with a use ez (or what ever), it might put you tranny over the edge

That's no better than a stock LP. If you have the money get a FASS II. I see 17-18 at idle and can pull it down to only 14 WOT.

I know thats why I made the thread.

I bypassed my stock pump because it stoped working when I was running them both together.

I am thinking about getting a carter and mounting it on my frame near the front of the truck, because my holley blue is mounted near the tank.

I am not sure about used boxes. I bought a used van aaken and I think it is what killed my first vp44.

Thanks for all the info guys.
