Control box (brain box) wiring question
Control box (brain box) wiring question
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the brain box for a '89? I want to use it in my conversion, but I need to know how to wire it in. I have the one wire that really matters hooked up right now, but want to get the grid heaters and ksb hooked up and working.
DB/WT - KSB solenoid
YL/BK - Grid heater 1 control power
DB - 12 volts from ignition switch run position
OR/BK - Grid heater 2 control power
YL - 12 volts from starter relay
DG/WT - WTS light
TN/BK - WIF sensor power
BK/PK - WIF light
BK - Ground
LB/BK - Air temp sensor power

Yes. That lets the brain box know that the truck has been started so it will run the grids in "post-heat" mode.
It'll be pretty trick to have it working like the factory intended in the Ford.

Thats the plan. I don't know if I am goning to hook up the message center yet or not. There is not a real good place to cut it into the dash. I think I will use some LED's for the WTS and WIF lights.
Thanks again!
