I'll second the Powerslots....I have them on my truck. They work great and it's the first time I've had rotors/pads last this long, got about 30-35K out of the last set of pads. Rotors looked good enough that I didn't have to turn 'em when I replaced the pads.

IIRC, I paid around $200 for rotors and pads, pads alone this time around were about $85.

how do you get the caliper apart on an 01.5 3500? and also how do the rotors come off? thanks

If your front rotors are heating up enough to crack then you might want to check your rear brakes and make sure they are working good. Something isn't right if the fronts are doing all the work. Worth a shot.
