Fram Boost 2 intake

I finally got my Fram Boost intake today. It could use a couple changes, but overall it is a pretty good kit. It comes with all the tools needed to install the intake, 2 cleaning kits, and a couple stickers. The stock filter minder is also used in the Fram intake. I don't know if other companies use the filter minder or not. The filter is a dryflow filter. I like that because the oiled filters tend to let oil seep into the intake tubing, turbo and intercooler. After I installed it I went for a test drive and noticed right away the change in turbo sound compared to the bhaf. The turbo is now a little louder and has a higher pitch. Spoolup is the same, and egt's are down a little. I assume the egt drop is from the heatshield included in the Fram kit. I will update after I have about 10k miles on it. Joe

Must be pretty new. They are advertising it pretty often on Speed Channel.

I don't think they are for sale to the public yet. I have heard that it is just a rebadged AEM intake, but I can't say for sure. I will take some pictures of it tonight, and get them on here.

You're not the "public"?

It looks pretty slick, sure more attractive than the stock tube. Is that the Fram sticker, or do they come with that one on from the factory?

That sticker comes on it from the factory. I have a picture of a window sticker that comes with the intake. It is in my gallery. I won the intake. Fram gave away 400 of these before they sold them. I guess you can order the intake now. Before, you could only pre-oreder them.
