I installed boost and EGT gauges a couple years ago. Now after losing a LP and installing a FASS system I would like to add a FP gauge in my pillar. What do I need to tie into the fuel line at the IP. Right now the fass fuel line ties directly into the IP. Do I need a tee there or should I splice into the fuel line?
I have a Tee spliced into the line, a needle valve on the tee, and a SS braided -4 line to the gauge. Works great.
I should also point out that I have a full FASS and that the factory filter (and LP) are MIA under my hood. If you are still ruinning through the factory filter I recommend you use a tapped banjo bolt and tie into the bottom of your filter housing. This will ensure that you are reading the filtered pressure. That way if a filter plugs up you will see the drop in pressure.
