Should feel a bit smoother. I noticed a big difference after I put in the DD clutches, they had a good vibration at 1700rpm in 4th. I don't think an auto will be quite as dramatic.

You get the pin kit for it?

Pin kit? is it in the box? I haven't opened the box yet and the fellow I bought it from didn't mention anything about a pin kit. What does it do? The engine does have a bit of a vibration around 2k while locked up, I'm hoping this will make it go away.

The pin kit will adds extra pins between the wheel and crank, for engines exceeding 3500ish RPM's and higher. IMO not needed unless your engine is seeing these rpm's frequent. the pin kit would have been purchased seperate they are a seperate part from the dampner.

Right on, Thanks! I probably don't need that. I have the 4k gsk but I have only ran it up there twice, I believe the 160 pumps only fuel until about 3200 rpm anyways.

Depends on how the governor is set up, you can have them rev well into the 4k territory. I pinned the one on my dually when I had the front end apart for the cam swap. The real nice thing is that I no longer have to worry about my TDC mark changing when I pull the damper off and put it back on like I did before. I haven't pinned the 12v yet, I'll wait until the whole front end is off. Getting a drill in there when theres still a rad/intercooler/bumper would be a real pain.

Got it in today, the truck feels like it runs smoother in lock up. I'm heading out on a little highway trip tomorrow so I should be able to tell if there is less vibration on steady 2k rpm runs. It was a little more involved then 4 bolts!

Interested in your opinion. Tell us what you think of it. I'm thinking of getting one in the near future too.

Thanks.

well 500km later I like it! locked up in 3rd is smooth right up through the 3k area and it feels smoother in 4th as well. all around pretty happy with it. cruising at 120km there used to be a little vibration, now it's gone, so I guess it's working!

Thanks, Think that seals the deal on my decision. I've heard far more good than bad reviews. I'm getting a little viberation around 2k and I can see that the oem is looking rough.
