I've got one. IMO I'm not sure it would be worth $450.00. (I got mine free so that sort of made up my mind on getting it ) I'm sure it helps smooth things out but I was hoping for a little more transmission noise reduction. I have a G56 trans with a dual disk clutch and it gets pretty noisy at idle with the pedal out. After removing the stock balancer I did notice the rubber is coming out of it so I guess I was going to have to replace it anyway and I wouldn't buy another stock one.

Well worth the money when you consider the harmful harmonics that it reduces in your engine. A lot of what it does you can't see or hear, but it's doing a lot!!

Ive got one. It will smooth things out alot. Harmonics play havoc on long push rod motors. I dont think it will net you a bunch of hp, but if you plan on going for big power this is one thing youl need for a very smooth drivable power.

Like I said, I know it has to smooth things out otherwise they wouldn't use liquid dampers on every semi engine made. I'm just disapointed it didn't do more to help with the noise which is what I mainly wanted it for. Most people on here have a hard time spending that kind of money on somthing that doesn't add HP or don't see a immediate improvement in performance, milage or looks (not that Fluidamper ever claimed any of the above.)

Fluidamper does claim a small increase in power, but I have my doubts. It helped cut down the tranny hum in 1/2 and smoothed out the engine overall. I think this is mostly for those running dual disk clutches or guys who want higher revs

Did it eliminate/greatly reduce the vibration at 1700 rpm with the dual disc? Thats been driving me nuts, but the damper hasn't been at the top of my list to buy.

If you have a manual and get transmission vibrations from lugging gear or whatever the Fluidampr will greatly reduce those vibes.
I have one and it works great.

Thats the tranny hum I was referring to. Cut the noise in 1/2 if not more.
