First year of #53 blocks?
Looking at a 95 12V Dodge - is there any chance it has the 53 block? What was the first year these castings were used? I think I heard '98-up elsewhere, but not certain....

They tend to fail sooner when pushed to higher power levels. Some guys have had good luck with them. Jim Fulmer is one such guy that pops to mind .
