Took the truck out today for the first flogging on some new parts.

Did the turbo thursday night, gsk and fuel plate today. This thing is sweet. I only ran it hard through 2nd gear...stock tranny for a little bit longer.

I could hear the tires begging for mercy when the turbo spooled up at about 10mph The didn't completely break free, but if there were a drop of water under each tire, it would have been all over.


This setup seems to be a little hotter than without the fuel,gsk,and trubo.

I was able to get the pyro to 1200 by the top of secong gear...little warmer than i'd like, but I plan to do a few thing to help out with that.

Overall....I AM STOKED!!!!!

Yeah you're bombed, but you may end up bummed. Flogging on a new turbo is not good. Need to resist the urge until you get a few hours of break in time

 

long as you dont get to 1500+ on the top end you'll be ok runing to 1200 wont hurt anything

Sorry to hear that you enjoy your truck. It's only a matter of time that it feels like it needs more power ($) and then you will go broke feeding the urge.
However, you will be smiling too!
