Finally Got My Cummins!!!

Hey all. I've been on this site for a while now, because I used to work in the business, but I finally purchased a Cummins. It is a 98.5 5 speed 4x4. It has 80 hp injectors, K&N, boost elbow, and 4" MBRP exhaust. I am wanting between 450-500 hp at the wheels, and not much more for now, because it is a daily driver. I am probably going with the Hot Juice/Attitude for the price including all of the gauges. I am also thinking about going with the Walbro 392 system from Glacier, and a Con OFE from South Bend. How does all of this sound for right now, and what else will I need to reach my 450 goal? Thanks.

Eric

Sounds good and congrats on your truck! enjoy. Does it have gauges? If not I would recommend you get them first thing but the J/A will take care of most of those except for the most important one - the fuel pressure.

The J/A does fuel pressure as well. That's why I was looking at getting it. Instead of spending the money for gauges, and then the money for the chip, why not get it all in one package huh. And I do have enough self control to keep the Juice on the stock level until I get a clutch. Has anyone heard anything about the new Delphi feed pump for our trucks?

I know that j/a has a fuel pressure option, and I read a lot of reports that it becomes flaky often. I totally agree - it is a nice package, but I decided to do individual gauges instead.

I've driven all different kinds of trucks with all different power levels, and I know that I can control my right foot until I get a clutch and fuel system. What kind of power can I expect with the J/A and the 80 hp sticks? Thanks again.
