Question Fbd 50 or 100 hp injectors

If I keep the Edge EZ programmer and keep the Auto stock except for my HD TC should I go with the Farm Boys Diesel 50 HP or 100 HP injectors. I want to increase MPG and don't want to lose driveability considering I do city driving every single day to work.

Avoid ANY dealings with Farmboys Diesel, that guy was banned from here because he is the BIGGEST liar I have dealt with on the Internet. He has NO business ethics and running away would be your single best option.

No problem Lots of reputable Vendors out there to choose from, I myself refuse to support people I know are NOT.

Is there another injector to look at?

Those are expensive, I can't afford those.

I like the price of the Bosch RV275's for around $300

TejasTJ, do you pull a trailer with your truck? If so how much did your EGT's go down when you got the 4 inch exhaust? I have about the same truck & mods, but have to back out if it when pulling my fifth wheel due to high EGT's.

Thanks anyway. I am trying to talk myself, and then the wife, into a 4 inch system. I don't want a really load exhaust though.

I can't get the links to work, but punch in your truck at www.accuautoparts.com and they have injector *tips* so you don't have to buy the whole injector. $200 for 50hp tips $250 for 100hp tips.

I don't think you'll gain any efficiency over running the EZ on high, but you'll make more power. The EZ does boost fooling, so you should turn up the turbo with a boost elbow or rotate the wastegate housing if you add injectors. Otherwise at full load/rpm the turbo won't deliver adequate airflow.

As to 4" exhaust, I gained between 1.5 and 2mpg with no fueling mods. IT WILL PAY FOR ITSELF. This is the selling issue for the wife... it will be louder, but mainly when the engine is wound up.

My BD has what I *think* is the biggest muffler, but it's straight through- basic glass pack. The hangars were funky and I had to bust out the mig welder and redo them.
