FASS or Walbro

Just wondering what you guys would rather go with, a glacier 392 kit or Fass hpfp(150 or 95?). I see fass now has a six year warrenty. Just looking for input, thanks

Airdog, just because of install location and how it mounts, but they are all good kits can not really go wrong with any of them.

Both work well!
I found a big difference in quality of parts used between the two.... difference between good and very stout (FASS).
I prefer a little overkill on my truck as it translates to more longevity.
I plan on keeping this CTD a long time!

i too wondered the same thing not long ago. i settled on the fass hpfp95 from vulcan perf. the price was good and the service was second to none. install was pretty easy and i get a steady 17-18psi at idle and 15psi at wot. don't let anyone try to tell you that these fass pumps are loud either, mine isn't any louder than the stock lift pump. give eric a call and pick his brain for a bit and you'll see why fass is the better choice. jmo.

Never had a FASS, but personally love my Walbro from GDP. Haven't had any worries with it and I watch the gauge all the time. And the darn thing is so small and easy to locate on the frame away from flying objects. That and it is super quiet. I'd do it again.

No problems with the Walbro GFS on my truck. It was about $100 cheaper complete from GDP. Install was easy and I can't hear the pump at all but that wasn't a deciding factor.

Apples or oranges, what do you like, they both are a great LP solution.

FASS, the robustness, built-in regulator, water/air separator, and fuel filter.. Cant hear mine with truck running...

Go look at a walbro setup and a FASS setup... the decision was easy for me... All one unit big piece of machined aluminum. Works great!

Think about what kind of fuel mileage you would be getting if you were to actually be able to suck up (and use) 95 GPH. For almost everybody a 95 should be more than adequate. Just MHO.

Yea i went with airdog because comes with 1/2 in line, air/water sep and was cheaper than fass when I was looking and mounts up behind skid plate so something will not damage the unit, plus had a proven track record for over the road truckers
