Dan I got your PM but could not reply back to you I wanted to say ...Thank you and that I'm very thankful to be running a FASS...I hope it provides me years of fine service and piece of mind. I also thank you for you very quick responses I will stay with my 95gph setup as pe Rip's original sale...explain to me how it works though...a 95 gph pump reading like 13psi and a 150gph pump reading 15 psi on a FP gauge (is that right?) and yet still the VP does not notice the difference? How is that? is the VP limitied itself such that a higher pressure to it will make no difference in the pressure and flow/cooling due to the fuel passing through it?? In that case a VP seeing 13 psi will be operating every bit as well as a VP seeing say 17psi so long as the pressure does not fall below 8psi?? Please advise...and again, thanks for taking your time with me and teaching me more about the product I've purchased.

I also apologize for going on my tangent, I know this thread was about the FASS surging and though related to my tangent, it's more about psi specs and effect(s) on the VP44 injection pump.

Diesel Dan, what is your association with FASS? Everytime someone has a problem with a FASS, I notice that you chime in. Just curious. Stuart

Always did that on my truck, it corresponded with the voltage change when the grids come on.

New FASS in. Steady as a rock but it idles at 13psi and I can pull it down to 9 psi. Does that sound normal as the old one would only drop 2 psi???
