Arrow Fass Problem I Think...

ive had my fass in my truck for about 2 months the 95 w/ filters...and latley it seems like sometimes when i drive it to like a food place or somewhere quick, ill go to start it up again and when i turn the key to on i dont hear it doing that "pre-pumping" before i start the engine. and when the pump doesnt do that pre-pumping the truck takes a longer crank to start...what could be the problem?

I'm having the same problem lately with my FASS 150/150 system. It doesn't do it all the time, but everyonce in awhile the past couple days, I either can't hear it do the "prepump" thing, or its really weak sounding. I've only had mine on for about 2 weeks. Got a set of gauges coming this weekend, hope to get them on and see what my fuel pressure is when it does that. But I've posted hear and on TDR and now one has told me anything to really help other then try bypassing the relay to see if it makes a difference, or check voltage at the power supply and grounds at the pump, but problem is, it doesn't do it all the time.

Try bumping your engine to get the pump to run the 20 seconds. Our pump is a slave to the ECM and does what it tells it to do. If you just turn the key to run, it will prime for 1/2 to 1 second. Then you crank. If you do it again...it might not do anything unless you bump the engine to get it to run.

What pressure you seeing?

Do you have the FASS or HPFP?
