I did it, after three Carter lp's I broke down and bought a full Fass system, and WOO HOO!!
If ther is any Questions about what lp to get This is defenetly my suggestion.
Before...
5 psi at start and 0 at wot.
funny eratic rpm's at idle.
a hesitation at takeoff.
and 18.8 on the overhead milage.( I have done the milage on paper also and is only slitely off.)
After..
19 psi on gauge all the time
Idles smooth and quiet
Takes off like a banchi
and 19.2 all ready and it has only been about 50 miles since I did it.

The install was pretty strait forward and the kit came with every thing I needed. Great product so far.
O and instead of the Quick connect on the tank I just clamped the hose on. Thanks to this site for all of the great info.
What a diferance, I just love this truck more and more.

Oh boy am I hooked. I cant wait for my naxt mod.

 

Welcome to the world of FASS. If your fp #s were that low I would make sure your Vp is still ok.
