Thumbs up fass install done!

Well I'm done installing my fass 150/150 kit. My luck of course I ran in to problems. I have a 99 short bed and it says to mount the pump w/filters to the cab mount. I have running boards on my truck with huge brackets right in the way. I was going to cut and modify the fass bracket, but decided to remove the running boards. Problem solved. Until I was about to connect the line to the injection pump. I have the juice kit which connects a fuel pressure sensor in to the spot where the new fass line goes. So I had to order a tee to add the new line and keep the pressure sensor. After a day I got in the part and finnished the install. The fass kit is great. With my stock pump I ran 8 psi idle/ 0 psi WOT. Now 18-17 psi idle/ 15 psi WOT, couldn't be more perfect!

Cool. How did you make out with that factory Quick Connect on the tank? That was my biggest problem when I did my install about 2 weeks ago.

The factory quick connect was the worse part. I reached over the tank from under the middle of my truck and had my wife reach over from the side. I pushed down the two clips and she pulled the line off. I spent about 20 mins trying to get it off alone. And about 5 mins with my wife's help. That clip is a no fun with one person.

Your luck runs about like mine! Everytime I get ready to do anything, I end up having to do modifications, moves or just trash something.
