FASS Install

I have just installed a new fass system for my 2002 2500 Ram, and was wondering when installing the fass pump, does it completely replace the stock fuel filter? And if it does, removing it isn't gonna throw codes up on my truck is it? Thanks for any help.

It can replace the factory filter and no removing the stock filter will not throw codes.

You can run it through the factory fuel filter if you like. You will keep the WIF light and fuel heater then. Thats the way mine is routed.

What he said.....

Though i would seal the WIF plug up due to when it rains, it will pop the light on if it gets wet....mine does that every now and then.

Won't throw any codes. I just finished my FASS system and took out the stock filter and have the 2 connectors just hanging loose. That reminds me, I need to wrap up those connectors!
