I noticed you can get a FASS DDRP fuel pump, has anybody ever had one of these??? Are they reliable?? What kind of fuel pressure do they put out?? wondering if you suggest spending the extra $200 for a perforance 150 gph?? Basically are they good or Not??? All input wanted!!

I have had one of these for about a month now. Seems to be doing fine, I get about 15-16 psi at idle and 11-12 at wot. I have all 3/8" and 1/2" lines with JIC fittings all the way to the vp. I might be able to get a few more psi if i took off the small inline fuel filter I added on the frame rail, I put it there to protect the pump. With my mildly modded truck its fine but if I decided to throw a bunch of BOMBs on it I would probably go with the higher flow HPFP. I couldnet swing the extra cash when I bought it, But after three carters I had to do somthing.

Thumbs up

I have had mine for a couple weeks now and can't complain. I went from 5psi at idle to 16psi. I also gained about 1.5 mpg.

I was also talking to a guy yesterday that is running one, he has injecters, and an edge on it. He was telling me that the reason he got the DDRP was cause his edge was reading about 9psi. After installing the DDRP his edge was still reading the same, so he went to industrial injection and they put on a mechanical gauge and it read fine, so they turned the egde all the way up and went for a drive, and with the peddle on the floor it only pulled it down to about 10psi.

I am really pleased with the product. If I was to recomend a "cheap" quality pump I would recomend this one. It also has a 4 year warranty. Just make sure you fill out your paper first.

I would run anything from FASS...those guys are awesome and know what they are doing...not to mention their customer service is top notch. I am on my second FASS unit (sold the first one to get a bigger unit) and both are flawless and are of awesome quality. The DDRP will not let you down!

I just installed a new DDRP along with a new vp44. Thanks Diesel Dan for the informative vids Anyways, Started her up last night and let idle for about 15 minutes while i observed for any leaks etc. Pressure was at 18 psi. I do have the Vulcan relocation kit so the new lp got installed along the frame rail.Taking her for test drive later on today.

The DDRP is just a drop in replacement. Although it is much much better than stock it won't keep up with the demands of a large box and injectors.

Honestly I would spend a few more $$$ and get a FASS HPFP or Raptor Pump.

I thought the DDRP was a 33% increase in flow compared to the stock lift pump.....

Yea it is supposed to be 33% increase and from the sounds of it, it seems to be a pretty accurate statement
